THE QUICK CLASSROOM CHAT (30 min)
How many drafts did it take before my first book was sold? This short deep dive mirrors the students’ writing process and purpose for revision. Messy notebook sketches to shiny hardcover, books are made by real people who never give up!
THE EDITOR’S DESK (45 min) **fan favorite
Jamie’s unique offering where she spends one-on-one time with each student in a speed format of a few minutes (ring bell included!), reading only their stories’ first lines and last lines offering praise and support for bigger impact on intriguing first lines and lingering last lines, students not in the “author” seat will work on writing prompts. I provide prompts and materials, so every student is engaged from start to finish.
